My name is Vix and I live in Bluewater House in the Riverside West complex and I am offering dog care services to everyone who has a beloved pet, but from time to time has social and professional commitments which will cause a complication in making sure your pet is not on their own for too long. I understand that these cannot be avoided from time to time, and this is why I am offering my services, to help you! I have owned 4 dogs throughout my life (so far!) and have trained a rescue dog myself. I moved down to London from Yorkshire to work for a charity as a marketing officer so I have had to leave my beautiful pooches behind with my parents. I have cared for all sorts of dogs as well as my own. Bernese Mountain Dogs, to Lhasa Apsos, Labradors, Rottweilers, Greyhounds and so many more! I rescued a Labrador-cross 3 years ago when she was a pup, she had been badly treated and had very low self-esteem. I was determined to help her become a confident dog so I read up on canine psychology and the evolution of the canines as well as employing a personal trainer for her (and me!) to help us understand how a dogs mind works and how to improve her focus, confidence and attention span. I am very proud to say that she is now a confident, sociable and very kind dog. So as you can see I am comfortable with all types of shapes, sizes and behaviours!! If you want to go out for the day/night or for the weekend and you are not able to take your pet with you and or you don't want to leave your beloved pet alone, I offer a service that you can rely on and trust. I can either look after your dog in its own surroundings - "dog sitting" or I can look after your pet in my own flat and you can pick up them up on your return. An alternative is just for me to check on them for time to time to take them for a toilet break or to feed them or just to check in. All clients are unique in their requirements, and I can include extras to any service varying from grooming to bathing if that is what the client desires. I make sure that your pet is comfortable, happy and with them being away from their owner; I try to limit the stress of them being away from you by loving attention and focusing them by using stimulants such as toys, treats, walks, and general entertainment and care. All I ask is that you provide all the food/bedding/supplies that would be needed for the service that you require. This will be specified at initial meeting or by agreement. I am happy to take all ages of dogs, and happy to accomodate our elderly companions that might need a little extra help now and again or our young pups who need a little help learning! I am happy to care for bitches on heat however I do limit my walking due to risk to your pet and myself. Prices These are unique to the circumstances, but for a base pricing system please see below: Dog walking - £ 7 per 30 mins Dog Sitting - £10 per hour £40 Overnight (Available weekends only) £65 Weekend - Friday evening till Sunday Drop in/Toilet breaks - £4 per session (Maximum of 15mins per session) All services are personalised to the owners requirements and the above prices are a base only pricing system. I also require a 15-30 minute preview session with you the owner and your pet so I can truly get to know how I can provide the best care that you require for your pet. This is free of charge and a necessity for any service.
