Pet Home Boarding
Care 4 Pets was established in the year 2000 offering independent pet services; the success and continued growth of Care 4 Pets led to us forming Care 4 Pets as a pet services agency. We now provide pet care services across South Wales and are a respected company as many veterinary practices will confirm. We are fortunate to have working with us a variety of people, including qualified veterinary nurses who are invaluable when home care visits are required to elderly or infirm pets. This service does not however take the place of veterinary care. Care 4 Pets has approximately 70 registered pet carers working across South Wales, each Carer is rigorously vetted, provides references and is police checked before they are permitted to undertake any work. They are also contracted to operate within the Care 4 Pets Mission Statement and Standards of Practice and we view any deviation from these standards seriously. When developing an area, we are aware that there must always be back up. Far too often we have received telephone calls from people who have arranged for their family, friends, or a sole independent pet carer to care for their pet and have then been let down at the last moment, usually because illness has befallen their intended carer and there is no back up available. With such a large compliment of carers available, we usually have at least two other back up pet carers. Recently a number of people have decided to start their own pet care companies; these tend to be run by one person and they are therefore limited in the volume of work they can commit to. It is sometimes the case too that these people do not have the necessary insurance and back up. Granted they may offer their services at a slightly lower cost, generally only a couple of pounds, but can they offer their clients complete peace of mind? The benefits of using an agency are clear to anyone who has had to arrange short notice care for their pet.
