Meadow Cottage and Swallows
We are situated on the Devon/Cornwall border, ideal for exploring the north and south coasts, Dartmoor and Bodmin moor and National trust’s homes and gardens. Thirty miles from Eden Project and two miles from Launceston with it’s Norman castle and unique granite carved church. There is an 18-hole golf course, leisure centre with swimming pool, riding stables and Steam Railway all within three miles of the farm. The area offers a wealth of family Inns, excellent restaurants and clotted cream teas!! We are only two miles from a supermarket to stock up on food. For the Fishermen the Coarse fishing lake will be enjoyed as you can either walk or park your car beside the water and try for the carp, tench, bream, perch etc. The stretch of the river Tamar has some good pools, with salmon, trout, dace and grayling. A short distance from the cottage is a well-stocked Garden Centre, Café and Angling centre with fishing licences, tackle and bait. Both cottages have two bathrooms one cottage sleeping up to 8 people the other sleeping up to 6.
