The Welsh Springer Spaniel is easily distinguished from the English Springer by its beautiful, rich chestnut and white coat. It is an intelligent breed which responds well to training.

The Welsh Springer Spaniel does become bored quite easily so needs constant mental and physical stimulation. The breed requires abundant exercise every day. It loves the water and hunting in hedges and woodland.

The Welsh Springer does need regular grooming to keep matt free and in good condition.
