Caring for your Jack Russell Terrier

The Jack Russell Terrier is a fun loving, energetic and feisty dog. It seems to be totally oblivious of its small size and borders on hyperactivity! They are popular in the country and town alike being so compact. They can be prone to snapping and should be watched around children, as sudden movements can cause them to bite. Most owners will confirm that they make great family pets and are indeed loving, loyal and gentle.

Exercise

It will enjoy as much exercise as it is given and does need to “run off” his Limitless bundles of energy to maintain good mental health. Originally bred to hunt and kill rats, it still retains its killer instincts.

Varieties

The Jack Russell Terrier comes in three colour variations, Tricolour, Black and white and Brown and white. The coat can be either smooth or wire haired.
